One-of-a-kind learning for every generation

Award-winning, tuition-free public charter schools offering individualized instruction in an intergenerational community.

Where Belonging Fuels Achievement

We believe learning happens best in community, where every person, regardless of age, has something to teach and something to learn. This approach creates an educational experience where students don’t just prepare for the future; they actively contribute to their communities today.

Our Model

We foster joyful and independent academic and social-emotional learning that allows every student to excel both individually and together in one equitable community.

Enrollment

We offer tuition-free K-8 education at two campuses. In small, multi-age classes averaging 16 students, each child grows at their own pace in a supportive community.

School Community

Community partners help students apply what they learn in class, explore new interests, develop civic leadership skills, and understand their role in the world beyond school.

Testimonials

“I really want to express how this school has helped us not only financially, since it’s tuition free, but how it has helped my son grow intellectually. I have this school to thank for his social emotional health.... This school not only focuses on getting kids academically prepared, but has cultivated a learning environment for community amongst their peers. I see the evidence in the smiles and laughs when I visit the school. I am inspired by and eagerly anticipating the future leaders that come from this school purely from the strong foundation that they are rooted in.”

Sports, Clubs & After School

Beyond the school day, students at the Intergenerational Schools have opportunities to explore their interests, build new skills, and connect with peers through a variety of after-school clubs and activities. These programs are led by teachers, parent volunteers, and community partners, and they change throughout the year based on student interest and available resources.

From creative arts and storytelling to cooking, gardening, journalism, and theater, clubs offer students a chance to discover what excites them in a supportive, multi-age environment. Recent clubs have included crochet, upcycling, health leadership, Girl Scouts, theater in partnership with Playhouse Square, cooking through Food Strong, and student journalism. Each campus offers different programs each quarter, so check Bloomz for current offerings and sign-up information.
