A quarter century ago, the Intergenerational Schools opened their doors with a bold vision: that learning could be enriched by the wisdom, curiosity, and experiences of people across all ages. Since then, our halls have echoed with the voices of thousands of students, families, volunteers, and educators whose lives have been shaped—moment by moment—by this one-of-a-kind community.
Some moments are big—a first public presentation, a proud graduation walk, the launch of a new program. Others are quiet but unforgettable: a volunteer’s gentle encouragement, a breakthrough on a tricky math problem, the joy of discovering a love for reading. Together, these moments tell a story: not just of our schools, but of the people who make them thrive.

By submitting your story and media, you acknowledge and agree that the Intergenerational Schools have the full right and permission to use, edit, publish, copy, print, electronically transfer and copyright your content, together with your name and likeness, for any lawful purpose, including in connection with any media publications (i.e. social media, website, email newsletters or other print or electronic platforms or communication channels), promotional, advertising, marketing and other materials related to the Intergenerational Schools without the need for further consent or authorization. In addition, you waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product and to any royalties or other compensation arising or related to this use.
