Leadership and Governance

The Intergenerational Schools are led by experienced educators and nonprofit professionals who are deeply committed to our mission of transforming education through community and connection. Our leadership team brings expertise in curriculum development, school operations, social-emotional learning, and intergenerational programming, working together to ensure every student receives a high-quality education in a supportive, nurturing environment.

Our nonprofit community schools are governed by volunteer boards of directors who provide oversight, strategic direction, and fiduciary responsibility. School board members bring diverse professional backgrounds and a shared commitment to the long-term success and sustainability of our schools.

Our Friends of the Intergenerational Schools board supports fundraising, community engagement, and advocacy efforts that strengthen our schools.

Together, our staff and board leadership work to uphold the values and vision that have guided the Intergenerational Schools for over 25 years—ensuring accountability, innovation, and excellence in everything we do.

    Sports, Clubs & After School

Beyond the school day, students at the Intergenerational Schools have opportunities to explore their interests, build new skills, and connect with peers through a variety of after-school clubs and activities. These programs are led by teachers, parent volunteers, and community partners, and they change throughout the year based on student interest and available resources.

From creative arts and storytelling to cooking, gardening, journalism, and theater, clubs offer students a chance to discover what excites them in a supportive, multi-age environment. Recent clubs have included crochet, upcycling, health leadership, Girl Scouts, theater in partnership with Playhouse Square, cooking through Food Strong, and student journalism. Each campus offers different programs each quarter, so check Bloomz for current offerings and sign-up information.
