Tameisha Wilson, Enrollment Specialist

If you’ve been considering the Intergenerational Schools for your child, Early Enrollment is your best opportunity to secure a spot for the 2026-2027 school year. Applications open January 12 and run through March 13, giving prospective families priority placement in open seats.

Why Enroll Early?

Early Enrollment ensures your child has the best chance of securing one of the limited seats in our small, multi-age classes (averaging 16 students). This is especially important for kindergarten families, as seats fill quickly and current students are guaranteed enrollment for every following year. Openings become rarer as the grades increase due to our high student retention rates from year to year.

By enrolling early, you’re also giving yourself plenty of time to gather required documents, meet school leadership and schedule a tour, and get to know the rest of our community before the school year begins, ensuring a smooth transition for your child.

What You’ll Need

To complete your application, you’ll need:

  • Your child’s birth certificate
  • Proof of residency (utility bill, lease agreement, or similar documentation)
  • Immunization records

If you don’t have everything on hand when applications open, don’t let that stop you from starting the process. We’re here to help you navigate the requirements and answer any questions along the way. We can assist with obtaining official copies of lost birth certificates and other documents.

What Makes the Intergenerational Schools Different?

We offer tuition-free K-8 education with small, multi-age classes where every student is well known and supported as a unique individual. Our model combines individualized learning with intergenerational community partnerships, creating an environment where students grow academically, socially, and emotionally surrounded by caring adults. Our students consistently outperform nearby non-selective schools in state tests, and families tell us their children thrive in our nurturing, joyful learning environment.

Sports, Clubs & After School

Beyond the school day, students at the Intergenerational Schools have opportunities to explore their interests, build new skills, and connect with peers through a variety of after-school clubs and activities. These programs are led by teachers, parent volunteers, and community partners, and they change throughout the year based on student interest and available resources.

From creative arts and storytelling to cooking, gardening, journalism, and theater, clubs offer students a chance to discover what excites them in a supportive, multi-age environment. Recent clubs have included crochet, upcycling, health leadership, Girl Scouts, theater in partnership with Playhouse Square, cooking through Food Strong, and student journalism. Each campus offers different programs each quarter, so check Bloomz for current offerings and sign-up information.
