Invest in Cleveland’s Future

Every gift to the Intergenerational Schools helps students discover their strengths, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love of learning. Your support makes our one-of-a-kind model possible—fueling joyful classrooms, meaningful relationships, and an educational experience that transforms lives.

We Do More with Less

As public charter schools, we receive significantly less state and local funding than traditional district schools—yet we’re committed to providing the same high-quality education with smaller class sizes, individualized instruction, and intergenerational programming that sets our students up for success.

The funding gap means we rely on philanthropic support to:

  • Maintain small, multi-age classrooms where every student is known and supported
  • Recruit and retain excellent teachers who embrace our developmental model
  • Connect students with community Learning Partners and intergenerational experiences
  • Provide resources that enrich learning beyond state-funded basics

Your gift helps close the funding gap and ensures every student has access to the resources, relationships, and support they need to thrive.

Sports, Clubs & After School

Beyond the school day, students at the Intergenerational Schools have opportunities to explore their interests, build new skills, and connect with peers through a variety of after-school clubs and activities. These programs are led by teachers, parent volunteers, and community partners, and they change throughout the year based on student interest and available resources.

From creative arts and storytelling to cooking, gardening, journalism, and theater, clubs offer students a chance to discover what excites them in a supportive, multi-age environment. Recent clubs have included crochet, upcycling, health leadership, Girl Scouts, theater in partnership with Playhouse Square, cooking through Food Strong, and student journalism. Each campus offers different programs each quarter, so check Bloomz for current offerings and sign-up information.
